Coming from a family of artists and makers, my love of art was firmly rooted from an early age.  I watched with wonder my mother sketch, draw and paint, and make tiny sculptures out of candle wax and the wax covering off of cheese.

I am inspired by the world around me and depict visual vignettes of my world - how the everyday, the seemingly mundane, becomes extraordinary. I paint with paints, inks, fibres, threads, fabrics, papers on just about any substrate, from cardbaard, wood, fabrics to canvas.

As a therapist by trade, art is my own therapy. But more than just an individual experience, I believe art becomes a collective therapy.

We deconstruct and reconstruct, and although unfinished, we are always becoming.
